Mission
The British Arabs Association - BAA is a grassroots, community based organisation that strives to strengthen the Arab immigrant and British Arab community in the United Kingdome. Our mission is to promote the interests of Arab community in the United Kingdom including organising, advocacy, education and social services, cultural outreach, leadership development, and forging relationships with other communities.
The BAA will work towards improving the quality of life for British Arabs by building our community’s capacity to be an active instrument for positive social change. Will strive to work with members of our communities to encourage and empower them to participate in the political and civil society’s life of the United Kingdom. The BAA will act as central resource to government officials, local authorities, the media, political leaders’ community groups and institutes.
Our Vision
Our vision is for a strong British Arab community, whose members have the power to decide about actions and policies that affect their lives; and have equitable access to a range of social, political, cultural, and economic opportunities in a context of equality of opportunity and social justice.
